The partner is currently Marina O’Connell (organic farmer) who runs the Apricot Centre.

When?

September 2007 onwards

What happened?

Children and parents are designing and making an allotment in the school grounds. They will be growing vegetables over Spring/Summer 2008 to make soup and sell at a local farmers market. This will help them develop practical maths skills (measuring, counting, areas) as well as a resourse for creative learning.

Legacy

HCP hope to have the allotment permanently as an outdoor creative learning resource, and develop there ability to teach for creativity, as well as more creatively.
